About SPIKEM 2024

“Revitalizing the Excellence of Malay Islamic Civilization: Catalyst for the Prosperity of Civil Society”

This seminar, organized by the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS) in collaboration with the Malaysian Islamic Propagation Foundation (YADIM), carries the theme “Revitalizing the Excellence of Malay Islamic Civilization: Catalyst for the Prosperity of Civil Society.” The seminar aims to explore and strengthen the understanding of the heritage and excellence of Malay Islamic Civilization in the context of today’s civil society.

It is open to anyone interested in gaining knowledge and sharing practices and experiences to advance and elevate this civilization. With participants from diverse backgrounds, the seminar is expected to serve as a beneficial platform to promote dialogue, collaboration, and innovation for collective well-being.

Selected Extended Abstracts will be published as full articles in MyCITE/ERA-indexed journals.

Extended Abstracts must be submitted in Malay or English.

Awards will be presented for the Best Writing and Best Presentation.
